Dear sir/madam,
I would like to seek permission from you regarding a request for a holiday.
My family was going to a hill station, this weekend until the upcoming weekend, for seven days. I wanted to ask you for permission to go there with them for seven days.
Upon my return I will finish all the missed work, and stay in touch with my classmates. I have already talked to my class teacher, who can vouch for my finished class work.
If you were to give me this permission, I would be highly grateful.
