In the present poem Shakespeare compares the entire world to a theatrical stage, where all the human beings perform their allotted role given by the God. Every individual has to go through seven acts that are seven stagesof man's life. In the first stage of his life man appears as child in the world.

Rhyme Scheme :- Blank verse i.e no Rhyme Scheme but there is a steady rhythm of five beats in each line.

Special Features :- This is an imagery narrative style used by the poet which gives continuity to poem ,where one stage smoothly goes to the next.
Favourite lines :- "All the world's a Stage , And all men and women are merely players"
