The article mentions how students tend to try and find loopholes in the education system. High school is a prime example of pressure put on students to get good grades. High school students are typically concerned with their GPA, ACT’s, SAT’s. Not to mention college admissions and many other variables. “Pressure by parents and schools to achieve top scores have created stress levels among students- beginning as early as elementary school- that are so high, that some educators regard it as a health epidemic”. (Palmer 1) This quote is from Denise Clark, the author of the famously known book, ‘Doing School’. In her lecture, she shows how these pressures can overwhelm the students.
