Governing requires intellect and strong will. Both of these Criterions eliminate woman as consideration in comparison to men. It is true that we need to give equal rights and opportunities to both genders but a position that is vital enough to influence our livelyhoods is not something we should dispose of in order to provide quotas. That would be foolishness and would lead to demise of the community/ organisation. Nowadays it's a popular myth that men and women are equally intelligent. But a simple Google search will reveal that more than 99% of noble prize winners are men.
