Some parts of the world allow people to get a driver's license at age sixteen. Many feel this age is much too young for the responsibility that comes with driving a car and that teenagers should not be allowed to drive until the age of 18. In your opinion, at what age should people be allowed to drive, and why?

Countries that allow people to get a driver license at age sixteen must stop because according to the United Nations Convention of Child Rights say that children are below eighteen, which means allowing children to drive. Allowing children to drive is not allowed because they have a lot to learn and also too young. It is not reasonable because if countries allow people of age 18 and above to drink alcoholic beverages, why do they allow children to drive at age 16. It is a concern of safety. Especially at this age, they are going through puberty, which means mood swings and if they are mad or sad, they might be able to run from home further than ever like to another country or another state.
It is reasonable for countries to allow people to get driving licenses at the age of 18 and older because they are considered adults and they know more than those who are younger and more capable of their feelings. Children might not have a sense of control when they are over it. They might drive recklessly and cause accidents. This is unacceptable.
Children must be taught to be civic minded and must be taught extensively of the rules of driving.
