Globalization has not only changed our market scenario but has also brought about huge changes in the socio-cultural lifestyle also. Bringing about positive and negative changes it has its pros and cons through out. This has also brought about changes in the environmental standards of the country.
Life here is dependent on the existence of the natural environment.
All the development of industries, forest denudation, the lakes and rivers which are loaded with poisonous effluents, and hazardous chemicals in it, thus causing several threats to health and life. Asthama, Cancer etc has been mushrooming everywhere. So much so that, billions of people are affected by the choice of lifestyle they lead.
Even though, people deal with such diseases, still they are unable to give up their lifestyle and affluent needs to curb down pollution.
We must not forget that, we are ourselves the harbinger of death, if we tread on these paths. The choice is ours.

Hope it helps.

       Changing Socio-cultural Lifestyle Affecting Environment

There is no denying the fact that changing socio-cultural lifestyles affecting the quality of environment. The recent economic development, industrialization, and urbanization have affected the environment colossally. Owing to the above mentioned developments there has been a huge migration of rural population to towns, cities and metro-cities. As a result they have become epicenters of environmental degradation leading to unprecedented air, land, water and general pollution.

With the rise in economic prosperity, more houses, buildings, vehicles, roads, schools, hospitals, etc. imply cutting of more and more trees, which any wise-man will say is destruction of more and more air-filters. More number of vehicles means more amount of emissions of unhealthy gases into the atmosphere, which means further deterioration of air pollution.

The bitter truth is each change in man’s socio-cultural lifestyle is affecting the environment adversely. Drastic socio-cultural lifestyle management is required to keep the environment protected.
