India has always been a country which has spread its culture across the globe in various forms. The traditional heritage and culture which presides in India, is still respected to some extent, just like any other country, in comparison.
Indeed as times change and development occur, people tend to deviate from their own culture as the country gets diffused from other cultures. Regardless, India as a country is still appreciated by the younger generation when it comes to appreciating their heritage, for instance the preservation of Taj Mahal, is still used a tourist site and is maintained. Indian's still follow all their traditional clothing and they spread their culture all around the world. Indians still practice their traditional classical dance forms of katthak and bharatnatyum. India has always supported dancing as a platform of expressing their culture and keeping their traditions alive. There are multiple dance shows and studios which clearly aim at keeping such cultures alive. Look at television shows like America's got Talent, even there Indians of this generation come up to share their cultural dances.
Even though as time passes by, modernity increases, gradually the choices of the younger generation are more bold and different. Their thinking is different, however, the respect factor still remains. The younger generation might not show it off, often, but mostly people respect such values.
