Pune is a culture capital of Maharashtra. It is the second largest city in Maharashtra.
Pune is ranked the No. 1 city in India in 'ease of living' ranking index . It is also known as the "Oxford of the East" due to the presence of several well-known educational institutions.
Pune is India's one of the emerging Smart Metro City. Pune is World wide famous for Fergusson College , Shaniwarwada , the HSBC Global Technology India Headquarters, and the National War Memorial Southern Command.
Lakshmi road and Tulsi baag the best places for shopping , the magnificent PNG jewellery, Chitlae's delicious Bakarwadis and helpful citizens.
With having a developed environment, Pune as mentioned above is also known for its culture and heritage.
The great MARATHAS had their capital as Pune. The Shanivar wada attracts many tourists to Pune every year.
The city is also known for its British Raj bungalow architecture and the Garden Cities Movement layout of the Cantonment from the early 20th century.
