There are many benefits towards a clean environment like saving endangered species, clean air, less hazards, more sources of food such as fish, and much more that are too many for this list. By having a clean environment, we can have a more steady supply of food, water, and many natural resources like wood in order to create important products. Making India green is a dream of all the citizens.

The Clean India Green India slogan states that if we try to keep our India clean it will become green by cleaning our environment and surroundings then only we all will be able to get a good surrounding of greenery like trees, grass and various small plants and many more. With this Clean India Green India mission we mainly focus on to stop the deforestation and increase the number of trees in India to decrease the pollution as the trees help in reducing the pollution. We must increase the natural environment by reducing the process of cutting trees, that is, by promoting lesser use of raw material from the forest and increasing the number of trees by growing small plants if we want to bring a change in our country. “Cleanliness is Godliness” is the mantra of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation. The Swachhata Mission is integrated with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan towards realizing his vision. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) or Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is a nation-wide campaign in India for the period 2014 to 2019 that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, towns, and rural areas. People have taken seriously about the cleanliness of India and they clean the environment every day and also dispose the garbage in a correct manner, and also they have taken the Global Warming as a serious problem and also started growing plants and trees around them to prevent relation from global warming as the trees helps to overcome the number of greenhouse gases in the air. There are various developments in the forest cover and also increase the number of trees in the cities to fight against the various environmental problems. We all know the beginning of anything needs a kick start. The best way to begin this cleanliness drive is with our own house, room, kitchen and society. The next important priority is preserving the greenery. Together we all can definitely make a difference. Mass forestation drive, and stopping the use of fossil fuels altogether can solve this problem. We can use other alternative fuels available. The government also plays an important role in keeping India clean and green. It must act strictly and take measures to prevent India. There should be a ban on fossil fuels. The government must create forest belt near every city or town. It can regularize Toxic emissions of industries Installation of toxic smoke and effluents treatment plants must be mandatory at every industrial unit. By not cutting tree, we can easily increase greenery which further avoids desertification. It reduces air pollution and leads to cleaner and purer air. In addition to minimizing Global Warming, it also increases content in oxygen in environment. The Clean India Movement is launched by the government employed. The government began sanctioning loans to support the purpose of building toilets. In addition to that, they also subsidised the cost of the required materials and connected the borrowers to contractors so that they could finish the process. Not only this, but the Indian government has altered its economic and energy policies to become more environmentally responsible. Renewable energy sources are being subsidised while small hydropower projects are being undertaken to power rural areas. Recently, some state governments took charge of the war on climate change and banned the sale of firecrackers in the face of Diwali. We as humans can take care of few basic steps like carrying a recycle bag when we go out of our house and not throw garbage here and there. This will reduce consumption of disposable bags.
