Lost and Found
Every man has had the fear that one day he will reach into his back pocket and, uh-oh, his wallet’s gone. This is an unfortunate occurrence which I have experienced once before. One of the most stressful times I have ever been a part of is when I lost my wallet in Washington D.C. It was this event that taught me a lesson about being responsible.
As we arrived at the station, my family and I exited the train and headed to ground level. From there we proposed a plan. Our plan for the day was to visit the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the Capitol Building, and the White House. After my family and I devised our plan, we sought out the Lincoln Memorial.

“Sure, but you have to use your own money to buy what you want,” Dad said.
I crossed the street and entered the store. I was instantly drawn to the back display, where I saw my holy grail. “Sixty dollars!” I thought in my head. “Good thing I have just enough to pay for it. I grabbed the game and took it to the counter.
“That’ll be $62.34, sir,” the cashier told me.
