Let’s Become E-Smart
Technology if used wisely, is capable of solving man’s all problems. Owing to reckless and careless use of technology man has endangered his own survival by compromising the environment.
Wastage of paper deteriorates the environment colossally. Millions of trees are cut to produce enough paper to be supplied to schools, colleges, offices, Government offices, and the business sector. Much of the used paper is burnt that further affects the environment adversely.
Technology can help control environmental pollution caused by paper production and usage. The Government should ban use of paper for sending mails, letters, bills, reports, etc. E-mails, e-letters, e-bills, etc. should be used instead.
Let’s pledge to use e-mails, e-letters, e-bills, etc. and save environment by saving paper.

The modern world is witnessing a fast deteriorating natural environment. Look around, and one will find concrete jungles with just a smattering of trees. Unchecked construction and pollution are choking off our beautiful green trees.
As if this is not enough, huge swathes of green trees are felled by the paper industry!
As an important step, let us say NO to printed circulars in our school.
Beginning with this message, let us pledge not to print any circulars, be it for personal or general reference (like the ones found on our many school notice boards). Everyone needs to make it their habit, to refer to email messages and note important points when required. The whole message or circular need not be printed just to remember two or three points!
Please remember to spread this message, but not by printing and putting it up on notice boards!
