Child marriage in India, according to the Indian law, is a marriage where either the female is below the age of 18 or the male below the age of 21.Most child marriages involve underage females. many of whom are in poor-socio-economic conditions. In this the parents do the marriages of their daughter when they are child with the males or they fix their marriage in early age and do marriage in future. In India keshab chandra sen founder of brahmo samaj who persuade the British government to pass the marriage act in 1872 by banning child marriage but hard to hear that even today there are some rural areas where the child marriages are going on.
