The bullet train is a high speed train that operates on Japan’s railway network. With a maximum speed limit of 320 kms per hour, the train renders a unique travel experience. You can buy one of the three types of passes available to board the train. Each pass takes you on a trip to different parts of the country. Along with saving you time, you can also save a lot of money by opting for the bullet train as your mode of travel.

There are presently around six bullet trains, each of which offers announcements in multiple languages and catering services.

India's first bullet train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will run at maximum speed of 350 km per hour, covering the 508-km stretch in less than 3 hours. The ambitious project, which was launched by prime minister Narendra Modi and Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, good cost around ₹1.10 lakh crore.
