Even a child can teach better lessons of humanity

Children are the beauty of mankind. They are its hope for a better future. God gives men and women as another chance to accomplish the unaccomplished tasks that could not be accomplished for various reasons. A child’s smile is enough to relieve the entire day’s stress. If you want to experience the uplifting and pure vibrancy, go to a place where children are playing, you will forget the mundane. You will feel as if you are in another far better world free of stress, competition, and strife.

Children have an innate wisdom in them that excels the wisdom of saints. They don’t worry; they don’t panic; they don’t bother what they will eat, what they will wear, and what they will save. Still they get everything and live like princes and princesses. Their innocence is the most charming thing about them. That’s why someone has rightly said: ‘Child is the father of man’.

Children can teach humanity many lessons. Children are naturally so good at living life. Since their minds are not tainted with the corrupt, unwholesome, materialistic influences of the world, they enjoy being alive to the maximum. They are neither stressful, nor tense concerning life nor its challenges. They just take them as they come. The first skill that humanity can learn from children is the carefree attitude.

Another lesson that humanity may learn from them is their innocence! They never think of harming anyone. They just say what they feel. The thinking process in them is so clear, without any conflict. Humanity must learn this innocence and spontaneity of expression from them.

Another very crucial lesson that children can teach humanity is their playfulness! They love to play; they are ready to play all the time. Unfortunately, when we grow, we stop playing which is so crucial in keeping us fit physically and mentally entertainingly. All of us must learn this playfulness from them.

The most important skill that can be learnt from children is their ability to forget the unpleasant experiences. They don't have any regrets, remorse, ill-will, etc. for anything and any one. Even if they have short innocent brawls with anyone, they forget it, and again start playing with the person they had brawl with. This I would love to learn from them. In the Bible, Jesus advises his disciples to be child-like if they want everlasting happiness.

So, each one of us must preserve the child in us.
