Sometimes people do not understand the need for young children having proper mentors and role models to help them though the rough patches of teenage years.
This is because, gullible minds at a vulnerable age lead to a series of bad decisions. For instance, I am sure that everyone must have heard about the story of Pinocchio, a wooden puppet boy who was sent to school but when ever he would lie he would get caught. Everyone remembers this story just because of the lying moral, but nobody remembers it for how little Pinocchio is told not to talk to strangers. He does exactly what he is told not to do and ends up in a sticky situation, under bad influence of bad elders who sell him off to a circus of some sort. This story clearly supports the statement that gullible minds at a vulnerable age are quite easy to penetrate. Which is what leads them to making bad decisions when not taught otherwise.
