How to inculcate Moral values among Youth

Ethics and moral values are essential for success in life. In order to achieve success one really needs to have considerable strength of character. This strength can’t be achieved without rigorous ethics and moral values. Ethics and values are the hallmark of character. Character cannot be conceived of without them. The way there can be no light without the sun, similarly, there can be no character without ethics and values.

The need of the hour is to impart value based education. The stress should be on the values such as patience, honesty, tolerance, sympathy, and love for fellow brethren and sisters. The students must be indoctrinated to keep values as top priority. The youngsters need not only to be taught how to develop their skills, talents, and abilities, they must also be taught how to use these skills, talents and abilities for the welfare and betterment of all.  Children and the youth should be taught the biographies of great men such as Lincoln, Gandhi, Dr. Kalam, Helen Keller, etc. They should be shown the movies of similar themes also.

Once values become their priority in life, all the negative aspects of life will automatically dwindle. The world direly needs people with high values to make it a better place to live in.
