earth is the only planet in our solar system on which life exists with incredible biodiversity. People all over the world celebrate this grand event to protect flora and fauna and to clean up the earth on which we live.The noble Earth has bestowed the human beings with incredible and beautiful nature in the form of mountains, rivers, forests and various natural resources that helped human beings to survive and initiated our evolution. So, now its our time to save our planet from the challenges which are threatening the existence of the earthThe life of Human beings originated on the planet Earth .The Mother Earth is calling us for her protection. People have become selfish and they are killing the beautiful forests, damming the rivers and making more concrete walls without even realizing that by doing these activities, they are giving invitation to the termination of their own existence.Our earth is burning from both ends as the river beds are running dry. The plants and mammals are like us-living things. The biggest challenge that our earth is facing today is global warming, the glaciers are melting, sea level is rising, the climate is changing on a fast pace. So, we must help to save them all.World Earth Day is celebrated all over the world annually on 22nd April.This time; it will be the 42nd anniversary of World Earth Day.|OriginIt was first launched by honest efforts of the US senator Gaylord Nelson on April 22, 1970 from Wisconsin along with Denis Hayes as the main organizer of the activities for the grand event.Earth Day in IndiaIn India, first Earth Day was celebrated by approximately 1,200 kids followed by a massive campaign in which they carried slogans and messages about preservation of our mother earth.

HOW TO SAVE MOTHER EARTH

we live on a planet where hostility towards the ground which gave is us birth is common..
today our mother earth is experiencing issues like ozone layer depletion, deforestation , etc. and just enough to raise the temperature of the earth..
these causes are enough to make sure that we become aware of the destruction and difficulties it will cause to us in later life in the near future

the various agencies of the UNO are taking effective measures and seminars to raise awareness regarding this matter..but unless the general public starts giving attention
. Nothing will happen

the various ways by which we can save our mother earth are

SAVE WATER:
there is no doubt that water is called the Elixir of life. but today as we experience water shortage, water contamination and etc.. we find ourselves struck on the necessity of saving water..
it is increasingly important for us to save it in order to save Earth. ONLY 1% of the water present in whole earth is fit for drinking therefore we need to take effective measures


PREVENTION OF DEFORESTATION:
today, most of the jungles of the world are getting depleted simply because of large scale deforestation ..for our personal uses . But we fail to recognise the true fact that if we don't stop cutting them . we won't have air to breathe . therefore, we mustn't cut trees to save Earth


OTHER WAYS: we also have several other ways by which we can benefit and save our earth, basically by collecting rainwater harvesting and using eco friendly methods of transportation and accommodation and storage we can also benefit mother earth by stopping the pollution and decreasing pollutants in order to protect the earth , and above all.. to decrease the amount of CFC in the air
