yeah there are side effects of using earphones and headphones is exist. but if you use a branded or most user friendly headphones it'll be fine to hear loud voice or bass, but instead if you use local 100 rs cheap headphone it'll probably cause damage to your ear and it won't last for two days. and finally usage of 1 hour to 2 hour is permissible not more than that.
