      Literacy is the only light in the tunnel

It is true literacy is like light on the end of the tunnel. In the expression light stands for literacy and tunnel stands for life. Literacy is the medium through which we can equip ourselves with education, knowledge, and skills. Literacy enables us to communicate with the learned ones.  

Without literacy life is like a dark tunnel where we grope our way banging into obstacles and impediments. All people in a country should be literate; where there is no literacy, the Government must launch literacy programs and literate people should also help in these programs.  

No person should live in this dark tunnel without the light of literacy.
