Food is a very essential need for humans and other living beings. Without food, it is literally impossible for the development and growth of organisms. Food resources are as equally important. Lets first discuss the consequences of not preserving our food resources. Food resources, when depleted, can lead to a terrible tragedy. Livestock numbers will drastically fall. As vegetation is not present, we can be objected to disasters and calamities more frequently. Animal numbers will fall as well. We will grow more weak and world hunger will become more bigger than we will ever think of. Numerous health issues might rise and so on. To prevent such a big problem, we need to take care of our food more cautiously. We need to watch the percentage of overgrazing, as it can lead to depletion of vegetation much faster than you can realize. We need to prevent cutting down trees, as it is very much interlinked to the decrease in food and many more ways to conserve such resources. But, management is also a major thing to take care of. Like what's the use of growing, when it isn't safe? High quality storage's are supposed to be encouraged. Pests should be treated with seriously, etc. Lets save our food and our world. They are in our own hands.
