A noble thought spelled out as a thread message. God bless you. The most well wishers in our life are the parents. Many of us come to know this truth only after becoming parents ourselves. But sometimes it may be late for atonement or compensation.
So to save ourselves of the guilty feeling of being thankless and cruel to our parents, we should start from day one itself as being nice to our parents, do the duties expected of us to them. The story of Sri Rama is open before us . He sacrificed the throne to help his father fulfil the vow. He did not want his father to earn the bad name of breaking King's vow.
In his autobiography Gandhiji has mentioned a few occasions of remorse and regret when he felt he was not as obedient or truthful to his parents-eventhough such occasions were so rare.
Blessed are those who get long life to serve their parent with duty and devotion.
