animals are very important part of our natural heritage and must be protected for future generation. Projects have been taken up for the protection of elephants, tigers , Rhinos and bustards.The Indian board for wildlife advises government to take steps to preserve wildlife. Several Wildlife sanctuaries about 109 national parks, 49 Project Tiger areas about 355 zoological parks and 18 biosphere reserves have contributed towards the conservation of animals and birds species in India.
