ROLE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE BATTLE AGAINST COVID-19
In the 21st century, the human race haveade significant advancement in every possible sphere including the field of science and technology. It is in this century only that the human race is facing a pandemic that have already claimed lakhs of lives globally, and have largely affected the normal functioning of humans. However;it is science and technology only that is keeping our hopes alive.
The corona virus outbreak has been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organisation and for which there is no vaccine till date, yet containing it's spread becoming very vital which has resulted in shutting down of schools, offices and other work places, etc; in short it has put a full stop to our daily routine.
But, as the saying goes, "Life must go on";so even in this situation, we are carrying with our regular works in a different way. In spite of schools, colleges being shut down; we are continuing with our lessons through the process of vital technological means. Workers are working from home with the help of the advanced technological tools. Moreover, it is science that is keeping our spirits up as it is science and technology only that is allowing our doctors, nurses, scientists and other health workers to work and prepare vaccine for this deadly disease.
Thus, human race is fighting a battle against covid-19 pandemic, and have a weapon named 'Science and Technology's that will help them to defeat deadly corona virus.
