Child labour is the illegal act of forcing young children to work. The number of children who are forcefully employed is undetected in india, this disgusting act is prevalent because of the low wages children require. Also in many cases, such as plucking of tea leaves, small fingers are required. Thus, small children are employed.
In India, emloying children under the age of 15 is illegal, but still several children are employed. The reason for this is poverty of rural Indian families. This has a bad effect on a child's mind. It detoriates their growth, both mentally and physically. Many times, children are employed at very risky and dangerous places. They are tortured and abused Due to child labour. Children are deprived of their childhood edivation and schooling. This also puts the future of India at risk. The children of Today are the future of tomorrow. If they are growing up in such conditions , there future wouldn't be as prosperous, which ultimately will be the same for the country as a whole
Some effective steps must be taken to prevent this. It's obvious that government bans and prohibitions don't have much effect. The need of the hour is to increase awareness among people, especially parents of children working under force. As for the orphan child labour, surious attention is needed to save them from that torture and provide them good facilities (in orphanage, etc.). Thus, with these steps, there is a hope that India's future would be brighter and prosperous.
