A nation that doesn't empower its girl children with education can never achieve the objectives of self reliance in agriculture, industry, and service sector. For India the objective of 100% literacy is still quite distant. Owing to so many factors the rate of girls enrollment in schools is quite low! And as long as the gap is not filled, the prospect of our nation becoming a developed country looks quite bleak. Indian government needs to precipitate the process of girls empowerment through education by implementing new laws. The private schools can be roped in achieving the goal. People and NGOs should also be involved in this mission. With the concerted efforts only the girls empowerment is possible.
