Science has made our lives comfortable and meaningful with its inventions and discoveries. Think of any technology and gadget we use today, we can see science is being used. Science and scientific thinking help us to progress further.
Development in agricultural production, educational progress, transport, communication and any other field we can notice how science has changed life in every way. Can we now think of old bullock carts and other animal driven vehicles to travel to farthest places? We need rail or air transport. Think of the use of internet and mobile communications. Science has done wonders. In the field of medicine, it has reduced our pains and saved lives and our life expectancy has increased and so on.
Science has also its darker side. Scientific developments have led to war, killing hundreds of lives and inflicting pain on the society. It is the same science which changed the destructive atom bomb into nuclear energy. We should make use of science for the benefit of humanity. Let’s hope science is used for productive purposes
