World Water Day' is celebrated on 22nd of March every year. On 22 March 1993 the United Nations General Assembly declared 22 March as World Day for Water. The international observance of this Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro.
