Explanation:
Clean India must be a people's movement to become successful. Every person must have questions in their mind like yourself on how they can chip in. My understanding is simple. Every person must be clean and keep his surroundings clean. This way his house will be clean, his neighborhood will be clean, his city will be clean and ultimately his nation. So here's what I decided to follow as my contribution for the campaign.
Keep your house and workplace clean by disposing wastes only in trash bins and later clear the contents of the trash bin as advised by local municipal body. Do not throw even a tiny piece of paper anywhere else but the trash bin. Save your trash and throw them into the bins, if bins are not available.
Use lesser plastic. Take your own cloth bag when you go out to buy. This will reduce demand of plastic bags and their subsequent disposal.
Do not answer nature calls in public places.
Do not spit, scribble on walls etc.
My aim is not to give celebrities any trash to clean up. If I do not create trash, celebrities will not have anything to clean up.
I cannot go around cleaning streets, and public places for many reasons, but I appreciate efforts of others doing that. But if I and each one of us keep our immediate surroundings clean, follow simple rules, India will automatically become clean.
