A Bridge Of AWARENESS

\bf\blue{(Prency\:Yadav)}

Poverty is not an accident.Like slavery and apartheid. It is man - made and can be removed by the actions of human beings.

It is the fact that from the very long time, poor section of the society have been ignored by the government. But it should be keep in mind that ignoring pools and their demands is not the solution at all.

Poverty doesn't affect only poor service but the country as well.

After much consultation, It has been found that the gap between the rich and poor is the result of bad politics. Bad Politics means they favour the rich and poor inequalities.

Usually people tend only to see and talk with people of their level.i.e economic level.

'' Education should be a great equaliser, not a source of division. ''

One of the reason for rising the gap is corruption. Perhaps, it is the only reason that is has taken so much time if ever would have done properly it couldn't be worst than today.

One of the big issue in India is the gap between Poor and Rich.

Some ways to bridge the gap between the two contrasting words

RICH and POOR -

\implies FOLLOW MARXIST PHILOSOPHY

According to this, all the money should be distributed as per it's material and production capacity. It's main aim is to remove Political inequality from Society.

\implies PROGRAMS SHOULD BE ORGANISED TO MOTIVATE THE POOR PEOPLE

Poor section of the society are unaware about the policies for their development. So, it's our duty to make them aware about the same.

\implies AGRICULTURAL GROWTH AND ALLEVIATION

Montek Ahuluwalia, former member of Planning Commission has studies that the agricultural growth and poverty are inversely related; the higher agricultural growth leads to lower poverty ratio. It has been confirmed by the experience of Punjab and Haryana.

\implies ATTACK ON POVERTY BY DIFFERENT GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND SCHEMES

According to 5th five year plan constitutes a direct attack on Poverty. These were -

● Jawahar Rozgar yojana, now known as Jawahar Gram Stimridhi Yojana.

It's main aim is to generate wage employment for the rural poor.

Training of Rural for self - employment

Under this, Rural youth are given training and equipped with skills.

This highlights the need for making reforms in these schemes. So that, they lead to the expansion of productive types of wage employment and self - employment.

\implies BETTER ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

It is obvious that a poor man cannot afford their children's basic needs i.e food, better health care facilities and most important Education.

Earning and purchasing power is extremely low as compared to the richer section of the Society.

\implies LACK OF EDUCATION AND AWARENESS

Lack of education and Awareness about healthcare and other made them sick, the only reason behind this is that they truly avoid the comman health aspects of life and they can't afford the good stuffs and quality food.

Now,

the question appears in mind, if government is providing free education with mid-day meal to poor children, then why the literacy aspects are still not gaugeable ?

If the government is providing free vaccination then why people are dying in a big series ?

Well, It's just because of lack of AWARENESS, EDUCATION and MOTIVATION.

It can be conclude that only money is not responsible for it. Even Government is spending much money on poor sections and has introduced schemes too. I have remember one of the scheme under which Poor-section get guarantee of having 100 days work with best ages. So, money is not the main agenda. The only thing which is required is - Awareness and Motivation because some of them even don't know what policies and schemes have been launched in the Nation for them!

Answer:

The population explosion is India's biggest problem, which cause the gap between people and differentiate them on the basis of words rich and poor.

Population is increasing day by day and inspite of measures by government it continues to increase at an alarming rate.

There are various reasons for population explosion in India. The progress of medical science has lead to a long life span of the people. Also the villages, who constitute 80% of the India's population refuse to practise family planning methods. They believe that a birth of a child is an act of God and so continue having a large number of children.

Some communities refuse to have small families owing to fear that the numerical strength of their community would then diminished. They foolish prefer to have a large number of children. Because more children means more money. (As they also help them in buying food and money.)

The consequences of all these dogmatic people refusing to adopt measures to plan their family has resulted in this tremendous population explosion. The effect of this is retrogressive for the development and progress of nation. Thus, no development plan is really successful.

Further the steps increase in population also leads to a dearth of jobs and unemployment. Young men and women equipped with degrees ultimately find themselves with nothing to do. Due to this their degree remains useless paper.

Yet another evil effect is on education. The increase in population naturally puts a great pressure on schools and colleges to admit the students. Yet again public transport which is also under great pressure, will find it more difficult to cope with the rush in coming years if the population continues to increase as it is doing now.

Ways :

First of all government should step up it's efforts to propagate the message of the benefits of having small families.

Again educational institutes too can spread this message by teaching the students the concept of small families being happy well adjusted families.

Thus population explosion is a serious problem on the economy and development of the country. Only if it is tackled on a war footing, aggressively and sincerely will there be positive results.
