Sir/Madam,
I want to bring into light the problems faced by the people living in ABC street through your newspaper. After constant reminders to the Municipal department as well as the state government regarding open manholes in our street, still no actions have been taken so far.
There has been several reports of incidents of people and children falling in the manhole, which are kept open after cleaning in the locality past two months. One of the accidents had turned fatal indeed. During monsoon, the risk of falling in the manhole increases a lot. We reported the problems to the state government as well, still no actions have been taken to cover it.
So, I request the Maharashtra state government to please take these problems seriously and quickly cover the manholes or else the incidents will increase and turn more fatal.
