Cleanliness of the school area/ classrooms was acceptable in 80 of the schools. There were no separate apartments for serving the midday meals in any of the academies under study. Eighteen( 90 of the schools were possessing drinking water points. Liquid and solid waste disposal were unsanitary in six( 30 and eight( 40 of the schools independently. Only half of the seminaries had acceptable latrines for boys and 60 for girls. Only two( 10 of the seminaries had acceptable hand washing points with cleaner. Conclusions The terrain and sanitation installations at numerous of the schools aren't completely satisfactory.
