Answer:
Prevention is better than cure
Explanation:
Prevention is the shield which saves mankind from many disasters, chaos and destruction. We must measure every step we take. A cure is a blessing, but preventions are better than cure. A wise act of a cautious mind can stop us from stepping into something wrong or dangerous. Prevention makes one escape completely from dangers and difficulties. Cure is a solution for the suffering which has already engulfed him. Man can prevent himself from falling into bad habits. Preventions can be achieved by planning ahead. Vaccination has prevented many diseases from afflicting human beings. Likewise, preventive measures taken in other areas also lessen the intensity of suffering. One can lead a happy and healthy life by combining one’s judgmental and preventive abilities.
Life is short, and, if a considerable part of it is taken up in inviting troubles and then curing them, how will man manage to live a life worth the name? Every effort should be made to prevent troubles and difficulties, and it must be applied to every respect of life. If the principle of “prevention is better than cure” is strictly and faithfully followed, much physical and mental suffering can be avoided, and a considerable amount of expense need not be incurred.

Health is the greatest asset a person possesses. It is an important gift by nature to us. Health is precious and everyone must look after it carefully. Diseases are the worst enemies of good health. There are various kinds of bacteria and viruses in the atmosphere which can attackman and make him ill.
How could diseases be kept away? The best way to do so is by preventing these diseases from affecting us. It is wise to prevent a disease rather than trying to cure it once it has already affected a person.
Many medicines have been invented for the cure of almost every disease. Drugs like aspirin, quinine, penicillin, etc. have been used by doctors all over the world to cure influenza, malaria, etc.
Antibiotics are given by doctors to fight serious infections. However, these are all cues that lead to various damages to the body as they have a weakening effect on the body. Hence it has often been advised that an overdose of medicines should be avoided. In fact, as far as possible, one should let nature find its own ways of curing the patient and medicines should be taken only when the patient is suffering from a violent attack of some disease.
Self-medication must be avoided. We must prevent any disease from attacking us by eating nutritious food and building up our resistance to such diseases causing bacteria. Regular exercise, plenty of fresh filtered water, fruits, etc. can be used to prevent diseases from coming close to us. We must be careful about the cleanliness of the water we drink because many diseases are borne by water. Sugar and salt must always be taken in limited amounts and we should stay away from spicy and fried food.
One must make all these efforts of protecting oneself from the disease.
