Zenith of Everest

Hopes of 2 Dream of 1

- @Glorious31

Right from being a young lad ; dreamt of heights in every sphere . From climbing up on the cupboards and feeling like being at the highest place ever seen ; reaching the real one was a sign of triumph .

It was a long journey to get a value in the society for being called a teen who reach the epitome of the world that too without any professional training .

The beginning was fantastic when my commando dad wanted to make me strong and fearless pursuing me to climb heights , jump , run and be trained . The day when I heard him say ; reach the top of the world didn't seem synonymous to be successful but climb Mt. Everest bcoz the knowledge I had that time was only on basis of Everest .

Then began my vigour and glory from reaching some of higher peaks and getting certified as a teenager who is capable to do anything and everything .

Then I lost my dad , my hopes , but wished to fulfill his dream . Worked day and night ; collected funds for my training , took care of my mom alongside with a austerity but didn't leave any chances of expiditions .

One day when I was trying to remember and practice my ascend some guy said ; trying to reach heights ? He seemed a kind one and I expressed my story . He too expressed his own .

He had the same dream but an amputee who couldn't bear cold . Our dreams and desires match ; we could help each other and that was my big break .

He trained me under his leadership and I in a couple of months could ascend Mount Rainer , Matterhorn , Kilimanjaro and started expiditions in the Himalayas . I missed my mom's support but sticked to my dad's dream . I could successful climb Lhoste and K2 .

Now it was the final jump for Mt.Everest . With hopes of 2 and dream of 1 in my heart ; I was inspired and motivated .

The day came when I was ready for the final go.

Took the necessary items like A flask of boiling water , a long stick to poke down the earth below to check if my next step was safe , 2 oxygen cylinders being consumed rapidly .

Dead bodies on the way acted as the indicators and created a fear . Wished to quit but couldn't . I met a man there so kind by heart who gave me his oxygen cylinder when I was on the ground suffering to breathe .

After some time I couldn't see anything neither hear .

Saw a place from where all the slopes rise 1000s of kilometre downwards !

I was at the zenith fulfilling my dad's wish !

For some years I held the record for being the youngest person to be the ascender of Mt Everest .

Fulfilling the hopes of 2 and dream of 1

The day I became a Teenager

                               -LaureLight

The day I became a teenager, I had been wondering what people will be thinking when they climb high, such as the summit of Mount Everest. They might be very happy, or they would be thinking that they are at the top of the world.

The day I became a teenager, I used to climb every top of things such as the terrace,of the wardrobe. After that  I got some hopes, that I want to climb summits. My next aim- Mount Everest.

That was much hard but not impossible. I used to study much about people's trip to Mount Everest; how they climbed, what circumstances they got in between, everything. I now got a big interest and now my one and only aim- Summit of Mount Everest.

My mother, she wanted me to become anything in life, but with power. Any job I get, I should get respect in all regions. She was very happy the day I said her my aim. She helped me a lot; she supported me to do what I want. My dad, as an Army officer also supported me to do the same. e gave me a special kind and a practical training to reach the summits. He said that what I studied till today was the mid part; The main syllabus is left.

Days past, now I was completely trained. But the thing hat stopped me in between  was experience. I, a teenager boy, How will I climb summits without experience? The main thing that my mother told earlier that experience helps you to get success in life, when I asked her how do you make food so easily, she said experience.

I had a talk to my father and he said mothers are always right. Without any experience how will  you climb summits? He had a friend who climbed Kanchenjunga, the highest mountain peak of India. With courage I asked him for climbing peaks of Kanchenjunga. He trained me a bit more and days passed and I successfuly climed Kancenjunga.

Now my aim- Summit of Mount Everest, I was completely experienced and was courageous to climb. After some days, the day came when i had to go. My mother, eyes full of tears saidme to climb nicely and reach the summit and come back as I am. I assured her what she said  I will do. I took all necessary items and the main thing, oxygen cylinder as it was the most importat thing people want when they reach summits because at the peaks, oxygen value is low.

I started climbing. But I had a fear too; I saw hundreds of dead bodies as I climbed there. I was completely sure that it will make fear in my mind, but with promise of my mother, i forgot the fear ad went on. I used an oxygen cylinder too.

As I was reaching the summit, I was like reaching the top of the world. Everything seemed to be so small and also I wasn't able to se or hear clearly because of clouds.

Finally I was as the summit! I recorded  as the first teenager to the the Everest.
