The moon was a wraith-silver disc hanging in the lonely sky. Lasers of moonlight, as bright as diamond-flame, turned the sea a-glow like melted platinum. It was as if I was watching a scene from an old fable stepping off the page and I was beguiled by its beauty. The Chinese called the May moon the dragon moon and I could see why. The waves were a-glitter like curved scales and I became lost in the haunting lullaby of their swell and sigh.

Yesterday, was a full moon night. The moon was looking very beautiful. It was like mother nature is wearing a beautiful ornament. With twinkling stars, it was also looking very good. The colour of the moon was yellowish white. Craters were visible as the moon was full. They were darker than the colour of moon. It was like a fairy tale. I was thinking that the fairies live in the beautiful, golden moon. Stars also gave more beauty to the moon by twinkling. I wish of I could visit there!
