RE: Opportunity for Training

Dear Name of Employer:

This letter is a formal request for you to consider allowing me to take three working days from DATE to DATE in order to attend a training course for Project Management.  

The program is being offered by the Name of University and is open to all business management graduates who are just beginning their careers. The cost of the course is $500, which I am willing to pay.
