I am fine here with good mood and health and hope that you are also fine at your place. I am writing this e-mail to you to tell you about an event which recently was organised in our school. I also helped the team in organising the event.
Our school believes in empathy and it makes sure that its students also learn to empathise and be grateful for the things they have. Every year our school organises 'Joy of Giving' week. This year also we celebrated it although it was a little different from the previous years.
The event lasted from 1st Feb. 2021 to 7th Feb. 2021. We had a fundraiser organised for the families affected from Covid-19. We were able to collect Rs. 100000 /- and it will be solely used for the purpose of helping the needy families. Secondly, we were able to collect a lot many books both academic and non-academic for almost all the standards which we will be donated to the families which aren't able to afford books for their children. Thirdly, we were also able to collect a lot of daily necessary items like shampoo, soaps, water bottles, bags, lunchbox, grocery items along with sanitizers and masks which are a must nowadays. The students donated all the things with their heart and were very happy to be a part of the event. The donations will reach the right hands very soon. The event ended with a happy note.
