Hope you are fine over there .I would like to share one of my latest experience with you.
Recently I got an opportunity to visit Wayanad along with my family friends. The tour was conducted by Wayanad Tourism Organisation which is responsible for fostering a culture of 'responsible unsustainable tourism' in the district of Wayanad
At first, he was taken to visit chembra peak. It was n exhilarating experience to climb up 2100 M peak. We took half a day to reach the summit.The scenery from the top of the peak is excellent.
On the next day, we visited the meenmutty waterfalls. It is the largest waterfall in the district. It is interesting to watch its three stage falls dropping from about 300m.
On the third day, we visited Banasura Sagar Dam. This is considered as the largest Earth dam in India. The dam is located in the south-western part of Wayanad district. An interesting feature of this place is a set of islands that were formed when the reservoir submerged the surrounding areas.
Before leaving our lodge, we went on shopping spree buying spices, coffee, tea, bamboo products, honey and herbal plants.It was indeed and enjoyable and unforgettable trip.
