Dear Shahji,
How are you doing? I hope you are fine. I am good too. I am writing this letter as a reply to your previous letter in which you asked me to tell you all about my upcoming trip. Well, the trip is not upcoming anymore because i have already gone on the trip.
Since i came back from the hostel my parents and siblings had been planning to go on a vacation for a while now. So, last week, my family and i went for a visit to Surat. Our maternal aunt moved there a few months ago and my mother thought why not take a short visit to Surat, that way we will see a new city and at the same time mother could visit her sister.
Over there we had a lot of fun, we visited many different places, like the temple, the main mela bazaar, as well as the museum and cinema house. We brought back a few gifts for our friends over here in Mumbai as well. I have got a souvenir for you as well. I will give it to you when i return to the hostel after vacations end. I look forward to your reply as well.

How are you? I hope you are doing good. I wanted to inform you that I will be visiting Surat in the last week of this month and I really want to meet you. It has been so long since we met, I guess about 5 years now. It's an official trip so I will be staying in a hotel arranged by the company but I would really like to spend the last free days with you. I was hoping you could take me sightseeing and I really want to try the food. I am craving for good spicy food. Looking forward to meeting you old friend.
