Answer:

Following is the essay:-

When I did not get water supply for a week

I always found myself complaining to my mother for petty issues all the time. For instance why was it so hot all the time when we would go out for shopping. I would rather sit in my car with the AC turned down to the lowest temperature to satisfy my needs. I preferred living in the city than the country side for my servants used to help clear my mess up and house keeping was always present.

However, when i refused to be sent to hostel for my temper issues my parents sent me off to my aunt's house in the countryside where they expected me to wake up at the crack of dawn to the sound of their rooster. If I thought I had seen it all, I was shell shocked when i realized that we had no water supply. There was some shortage and due to that we had to survive without water supply for around one week. With hardly a few buckets to be carried from the well, I felt exhausted when I had to help carry it long miles. We didn't get to wash clothes or dishes for sometime and had to survive off with what little we found. Living under such circumstances I figured how truly blessed I was.

Answer:

Essay "when you did not get water supply for a week"

Explanation:

I vividly remember the time that we did not have water for one week.

My parents had received a letter from the city council informing them of the impeding water shortage. They had desperately bought huge tanks for storing water. They had anticpated that the shortage would only last for a few days.

After five days however, we had run out of water. We tried our best to reuse the water. I was dehydrated for the subsequent two days. My throat was always parched and I had a difficult time defecating.

Some  shrewd merchants had taken advantage of the acute water shortage and started selling water at very infalted prices. People would line up from dusk till dawn waiting for the merchants to open the taps. Many people often collapsed due to thirst.
