What is Music? Music is a pleasant sound which is a combination of melodies and harmony and which soothes you. amusic may also refer to the are of composing such pleasant sound with the help of various musical instruments. A person who knows music is a Musician.
The music consists of Sargam, Raag, Taal, etc. Music is not only what is composed, but also which exists in nature. Have you ever heard the sound of the waterfall or a flowing river? Could you hear music there? Music is a universal language. It flows freely beyond the barriers of language, religion country, etc. Here, I would like to quote a line by Wolfgang Amadeus, "The music is not in the note, but in the silence between."
Music has a great quality of healing people, emotionally and mentally. Music is a form of meditation. While composing or listening to music, one tends to forget all the worries, sorrows and pains. But, in order to appreciate good music, we need to cultivate our musical taste. Also, the research has proved that plants which hear the music grows at a faster rate in comparison to others.
