The actual preparations for Durga Puja or Dussehra festival started at 9days before the festival. But in this busy schedule, I couldn’t able to enjoy from starting date but I got a chance to the last Three days of the festival. The happiest thing for me on Durga Puja festival is all of my family members and friends have returned to my native place and we have spent so much time on discussing each other and also the past memories of us.
Before Two days of the festival, I and my friends went shopping and we all have bought new clothes, I have found so many Durga Puja pandals near to my place and people are enjoying there. I have also visited those Pandals and I took the blessings of Mata Durga Devi.
The day before Dasami my mother started preparing tasty food items and my father brought different sweets. Finally the main day i.e the 10th day of Durga Puja has come and I wake up early morning and I have done my bathing and I wore my new clothes. My mother has already started Durga Puja and I also joined in Puja and I kept my books and laptop before Durga Mata photo. Now it is time to enjoy the tasty food items and after completing my lunch I and all my cousins went outside and again visited our nearest Dussehra pandals.
At night all our family members assembled at one place and we have a chit chat and completed our dinner. Just before going to bed I felt very sad by remembering that my enjoyment has come to an end because my Dussehra holidays were completed.
