The COVID-19 pandemic has changed travel behavior and reduced the use of public transport throughout the world, but the reduction has not been uniform. Covid was and still is a very big pandemic situation that happened in the year 2019 and is still going on. There were lots of precautions to be taken immediately to see that the pandemic does not spread. These precautions were introduced in the entire world in a hurry. These precautions included social distancing, wearing a mask in public, and using sanitizers. For the first few months due to the scare of the pandemic, this was followed throughout.
When people saw that the pandemic is not going away in a hurry the people started moving about in public places and public transport without the precautions required. This again led to multiple waves of Covid. Still, people were only interested in warning that the Government gave only to the limit that they don't fine by the Government. Other than that people started to move about how they liked.
During festivals also people continued to move in crowds to go to their villages and homes without being scared of the pandemic. This was another reason for the wave of the pandemic.
People have now even stopped wearing masks which are very important in moving in crowds. The impact of this can be that the pandemic can increase manifold and many people will suffer because of this unnecessary.
As responsible citizens, we should hold camps where we can teach people proper behavior during the pandemic. We should not leave this saying that as we have chosen the government it is the government's problem. We should do our part in this and try our best to stop the spread of the pandemic.
If we are successful in this endeavor we will not only be saving our lives but the lives of many other people. We should see that others don't lose their lives for the same reason.
