India being a multidiversed country, where differences go hand in hand is now on the verge of going in differency. The recent decisions of the Central Government has shook the entire nation. The decisions of the leading party BJP has now enlightened the fires of anger and desperacy among the citizens. In fact it's a situation where there's a doubt where a resident is a citizen of India. Minorities all over India are under appalling worries. Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC has altered the basic culture. If these laws are practised then the immigrants as well as the people without any documents will have to suffer. The residents from other countries as mentioned in the bill will alternately not be the citizens of India which will create opportunities for the advancy of citizens resulting into less population which is a major problem.
Merits and demerits of CAA and NRC are as follows:
- Merit- The reason behind implementation of the act CAA and NRC is identifying people who are living in India illegally. This is for the sake of safety of our country.
- Demerit- After knowing about announcement about CAA and NRC, some people of our country became furious. They are destroying the property of government like railway tracks, bus, trum, offices etc. This is creating a nuisance for the other people.
