Man is primarily responsible for the depletion of forest and forest life. The rise of industrialization has paved way for deforestation. Also, man cuts down the trees in forests for his personal needs such as building houses or for medicinal purposes because the extracts of many trees in the forest have medicinal properties.

Felling trees plays a great role in affecting the ecosystem of the planet and causing natural disasters. Forest invasion has also put the lives of many wild animals at stake. These animals become homeless and soon face threat of extinction.

All the above mentioned factors take place because of man’s intrusion into forests. Thus, man has rightly been termed as the biggest forest invader.
