In this question, we are asked to write an essay on the topic of Water- the elixir of life.
Every kind of life on earth depends on water, the mysterious liquid from which all life emerges. Since life was initially created in salt water billions of years ago, the function of water in the living organism has not altered. While the brain alone is made up of 85% water, the entire body is just 75% water. The blood, which is made up of 92 percent water, transports vital nutrients and oxygen to capillaries where they are released into a fluid called the cytoplasm, which surrounds the cells. Without water, a planet can't support life. For instance, the planet Earth is 70% covered in water, which supports a diverse population of living things. In contrast, Mars, which is the closest planet to the sun, is a lifeless world with no plants or animals because it lacks the vital component of water. Life exists everywhere there is water; even the smallest ponds may sustain life; grass will grow around it; and animals. An elixir of life means a magical or medical potion and water is that potion that helps one to survive.
