Modern life is fast paced and competitive. Ambition Stress is the buzzword and everyone is looking for success, money, fame and glory. Today one burns the candle at both ends to live a successful life and it results into

severe stress.

Stress may be defined as an anxiety syndrome due to work pressure. It also caused due to emotional, physical or mental tensions. The Fear of Failure or being left behind leads to a hectic pace of life which is detrimental to one's physical health. The lure of money and fame also makes one work beyond one's capacity leading to strain and stress.

Modern life is pretty mechanical, it leads to lack of exercise which aggravates stress. Couch potato lifestyle or being confined to a chair leads to obesity and stress. The hectic lifestyle leads to imbalanced diets, wrong food habits and endless cups of caffeine or aerated drinks makes one more prone to stress. This in turn leads to ailments like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems etc.

Stress is becoming a major issue day by day. People get dreadful consequences because of stress, which affects the lives of their families. This stress can happen in many ways, from different situations. As we know that stress can happen to anyone as everyone is busy with their lives, works but the thing is how we can overcome that stress. Everything happens with a cause and some consequences that follow and stress is also a part of it.

The causes of stress include pressure be it in the work area or in life. Different people have different sorts of stress as the pressure varies from person to person. Some people can overcome those stress and resume their normal life by minimizing it but there are some other people also who can not handle those stress and make immature decisions. Stress can also happen when there is a big change in life and momentarily people cannot accept the truth of the present life, not aware of the present situation.

When we start to explain the consequences of the stress, is categorized into two-term, one is short where people can overcome themselves and get back to normalcy, and the other is the long term where people felt difficulty to overcome and as a result of which, some takes wrong decisions. Some decisions are so dreadful that they can go to the extent of suicide.

To avoid the effects of stress in our daily lives, we must take necessary actions to remain stress-free in life. One of the most effective ones is doing exercises, it will relax our mind from that stress. The other one can be proper counselling, and this measure is more likely when we cannot take any more in life, felt like suffocation. So, in the end, stress is not a concerning thing if and only if it can be taken in a lighter way.
