Probably my favorite dog in the world was a big old boxer a friend had. She lived with a bunch of small dogs, and so she thought she was a small dog as well. She would run up to you the same way, trying to wag her nub of a tail, and expecting to be treated the same way as the others. If you missed her (for any reason, even if she was standing at the back of the pack), she would walk over to the corner of the room you were in, face the wall, then glare over her shoulder at you. As soon as she noticed you looking at her, she’d turn back to the wall, then she’d do it all over again until you called her to you and paid attention to her. Needless to say, this dog had personality.
