clean india & green india is a mission created by our prime minister shri. Narendra Modi. as we all know that india is the 7th largest country & the population of India is about 1.324 millions. but nowadays, peoples are cutting green trees to earn money & due to this green trees are decreasing day by day. peoples are throwing garbage in the road sides and making india dirty. this mission was launched on 2 oct, mahatma gandhi's 145 145th birthday at rajghat, New Delhi. to fulfil the wish of gandhi ji. gandhi ji loves to grow trees and also love cleanness thats why this 'clean and green india' mission created. 

we all love gandhiji because he was the great freedom fighter. to fulfil gandhi ji's wish we just have to follow some steps, these are :-

> not to throw garbage on the road.

> not to cut green trees. by cutting trees rainfall will decrease.

> not to spitting on the walls and on road.

> as we clean our house we should clean our surrounding area also..

> not to wash clothes on river.

by following all these steps, we can fulfil gandhi's wish. by making india clean gandhiji will happy to see that india is clean and green. so grow more trees as u can. one side peoples are saying that we will make india clean and green but other side they are still making india dirty. other country peoples are coming to visit india with an excitment but when they reach to india, what they saw? they just saw that everywhere is dirty in india. and they just want togo back because there is no place where it is not dirty. parks, roads, streets, walls everything is dirty. on walls peoples are spitting and on road too. making everything dirty. Population is increasing day by day is not mean that they start loving india. they come to india to visit. but still going back with a sad face. so friends, lets make all peoples happy, lets make india clean and green. lets make our mission successful. .

Our Prime Minister noticed this problem of uncleanliness and tried to resolve it. They started a mission called the Swachh Bharat Mission, which aims to bring cleanliness to our entire country. Clean India Green India slogan has become the slogan of change since the Swatch Bharat Mission initiated. It is designed to work as a complementary program with Swachh Bharat Mission.

The cleanliness mission started by Mr. Narendra Modi has helped India greatly in the corona crisis. We should be thankful to him for the initiatives like Clean India, Green India, and demonetization that have helped us during the Corona crisis.

Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi believed in absolute cleanliness. He believed that ‘Cleanliness is God’. He was so strict with cleanliness that he started cleaning immediatly if he found anything dirty.

India has a population of around 1.3 billion. More than 3 million people live in towns and cities which are heavily populated. Most of the towns and cities are not able to manage the garbage generated by its residents. One of the biggest reasons is the carefree nature of the people and lack of awareness towards deteriorating environmental conditions and its widespread effect on the environment as a whole.

Water pollution, inadequate drinking water, lack of proper sanitation, open dumping of waste, and deforestation are other related issues.

These issues have serious consequences. It results in various air and water-borne diseases. Unhealthy living conditions lead to a less productive population, which, in turn, becomes an economic burden to the country.

Immediate attention is required in the matter of environmental imbalance.
