CORONAVIRUS AS A CURSE AND BOON

What do you think??

Referring to the condition worldwide, with 3,000,000 cases worldwide. It is definitely a curse. People losing their jobs, Worldwide economy collapsed.

Lack of Everyday needs; People are forced to walk to their villages. With so many negative points it’s definitely a curse.

But, Lot of points to make you think otherwise

Maintaining hygiene

Since the spread of Coronavirus people are becoming more cautious about hygiene (I myself, never washed my hands these many times in a day). Sanitizing became a habit.

Nature is Healing

We can see while people are in their houses the nature is healing. Minimum pollution, ozone layer above the arctic layer finally closes, animals are to be seen on the streets throughout Mumbai.

Humanity is above all

This epidemic has bought us together. Locals were seen giving food and water to the people walking to their natives, and policemen, who are risking their lives for us.

So, be Coronavirus a curse or a boon, things happened which we never even dreamt of. We shouldn’t forget the good impact it had on us and continue the good habits we have taken up during this time.

STAY SAFE!!

About COVID-19

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.

Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
