Success varies from a person to person. Merely having a lavish bungalow, a thriving bank balance, and a luxurious car couldn’t be termed as success (unless you’re an extremely materialistic obsessive nerd).
For a person, who couldn’t walk on his own, talking a few steps independently would be a success. Or, a person who never had the courage to attend a gathering, making at least a new friend is a success.
However, if you talk about professional life, I guess most of it depends upon how you’re looking at your life and what you wish to achieve. Disabled or not, if you’re passionate enough, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals.
By the time I passed my school, I was completely unable to walk on my own. But that didn’t stop me from doing what I wanted to. I found out ways through which I could make money by sitting at my house. Then, I wrote a novel. I became a content writer. I am currently running my own digital marketing business. And, everything I did was without stepping out of my house.
It’s the passion and driving force that made me do these things. So, I believe, until you want to hido something, you somehow find a way towards it.
Reaching any goal is success, so I'm not sure of the question. To a newborn infant, find there way to the breast to suckle is success, but to the college graduate, finding a high paying career in their field is success. If you want anything bad enough, no disability or situation can stand in your way. You are the only thing stopping yourself from success.
